"Emotions Flowing In The Intimate River" by Gary Lange

This is a Photoshop graphic I did using the sculpture and creating a "wall" background of sorts.. I wanted something that would show the possibility of this sculpture being used in an upright position as a wall sculpture.. The way it is sculpted in my studio, it is on a slight incline, laying on a large sculpting table. In theory it can be set at nearly any angle, but as you approach a verticaj plane, much of the sculptures musculature is going to look odd. The fall of the breasts, or the sag of the stomach etc. I have thought that at some point I may want to redo the sculpture as a standing dancing sculpture, where I give the couple more freedom of motion. As it is, it is tough enough to work on, I curse and I swear, but I steadily make headway. The way the sculpture is presently laying, you can stand behind her head, on any side, or at the feet looking up, their faces and eyes really are a challenge, as are all parts of their bodies. There are a lot of ways I could vary this sculpture in the future, and I do have a lot of ideas for a whole grouping of like sculptures, but this piece is plenty to work on for right now!!
