There is also a variation of this graphic design under the, "Sarah Brightman 2001 Fan Calendar," section of this web site. I could not resist the temptation to use this basic design for the month of February. As you will see throughout this web site, I like to use the same designs in various ways. Changing words, adding a calendar, or an image of Sarah, all present different design challenges. What I think may look good, suddenly looks cluttered or confusing, causing me to step back and think through the process again. Even what looks good and exciting to me one day, may look week and disjointed the next. I know of a few graphics on this web site that I'll go back into and play around with. This is part of the artistic process.

Voice Of The New Millennium Award

I love Sarah's voice as well as her stage persona. It is a bit of an enigma to me, which I like. Sarah puts forth a variety of dimensions and shows a ton of versatility on stage. I choose the above graphic design to represent Sarah's voice for a number of reasons, one is that when I ask people what they see, I get so many different replies. What do you see?"

As a computer graphic artist, I like to create images, and then turn them into awards that I can individualize, as I have done with these awards for Sarah Brightman and "Eden". Soon I'll have other awards that I am working on posted on this page. I truly love the music of Sarah Brightman and very much enjoy the Sarah sketches "Eden" has done. Intimate River Sculpture/Fountain As an artist Sarah Brightman always sets an example for me of what true world class artwork is, visual as well as music wise. I am currently taking a figurative painting course, not only to help with the figurative "Intimate River" sculpture/fountain that I am forever working on, (see image of faces on right,) but also so that I can be a more fluid two dimensional figurative artist. (For more photos of this larger than life size sculpture, click on the "Clay & Sculpture Exhibit," link below.) When I test it as a fountain, with around 3,000 gph rushing through it, I am transported back to my days in the woods, and I truly feel like I am sitting next to a babbling brook. This is good, because the whole sculpture is, in it's own way, an abstract river valley or stream.

The Unexpected Forum

Many times I log on to a Sarah Brightman forum called SB2K.1, or the Unexpected Forum. What a joy to be amongst such fine Sarah fans. The experience brings me back to the ending notes of her "La Luna," concert I saw in Denver. As she finished singing, "Time To Say Goodbye," and the crowd stood chanting "Sarah, Sarah, Sarah..." for a long time. Here, on this forum, I find such interesting individual voices and personalities coming forth from what was once, but a dense cluster of indistinguishable echoes.
