DANCING ACROSS HEAVEN TOGETHER AGAIN
(Louie's Song)
I was there the night that they met
Blowing my horn in a bar by the road
He came from the shadows
And asked her to dance
Like a prince his hand
Twirled her once
Then laid her out right
I watched from the corner
What was obvious to me
They were dancing together
In heaven that night
Kissing the wind
And flying their sails
Following each moon
They traveled the world
From the dawn of there lives
Through each touch of each child
He held her tight
Then twirled her twice
It was obvious to all
They were
Dancing together in Heaven for life
Now time has no mercy
It nails us all
His way took him early
She came from the shadows
And stepped out in a glow
It was the middle of the night
And the lights were turned low
I was there again
That place where they met
Striking my piano by a cloud in the sky
I watched as he offered
His arm like a prince
Guiding her up each step of the way
Out onto the ballroom
Where angels play
Twirling her once
Then swinging her out
In a current of wings
Like angels they went
Dancing across Heaven Together again
