Here I've taken the same original computer graphic painting that I did, "Vail Highlands," and played with it in three different ways. First I made a poster out of it. The lettering could be played with a little more to give it a curve and a three dimensional look. Something that makes it jump out at you and fade away, giving it some 3D action. Maybe that's what I'll do next. The Northwind Woman image stated by using a smudge tool and creating a face out of the mountains. I just moved the color in swirls. Occasionally I added bits of color to play with. The Northwind painting suggested a business, parkas and hats to keep away the cold. What can I say, I grew up in North Dakota, and as a child I liked to vacation in the Rockies. |
