A Simple Graphic Design Using Photoshop

This page was designed to load quick using basic Photoshop tools. Graphic designs tend to be large files compared to text files, and can slow the loading of a web page down considerably. For that reason the banner on top and the hyperlink image map on the left side of these pages were kept relatively simple. Both must load on every page. Simple can be effective and elegant.

A Complex Graphic Design Using Photoshop

This Design took hours of work using multiple Photoshop tools. The actual graphic image, "Take Adobe Photoshop To The Beach," was compressed into a jpg file format so that it could be sent over the internet. The internet accepts only jpg and gif file formats. These formats greatly compress a file and, in so doing, take away some of the depth, beauty, and quality of the original image. When you are looking at detailed graphic art or photographs on the internet, keep in mind you are only seeing a shadow of the original piece. Still, much can be done and enjoyed developing these web images.
